Under the Influence

Exhibition: Sept 3rd - Oct 10th

Join us on Friday, September 10, 2021 from 6-8 p.m. at the Photoworks Gallery for the opening of  “Under the Influence,” an exhibition which celebrates the influence and work of Frank P. “Tico” Herrera. Tico, a founding member of Photoworks, who taught advanced photography and printing at Glen Echo for more than 45 years, exerted a profound influence on the many photography students and practitioners who studied with him over the course of his tenure. His mastery of portrait and landscape genres and his unflagging humor will be featured along with the work of his former students.
