Street Meet DC
Meet Up Event: 5-8pm
Join us on Saturday, September 25 at 5pm as we partner with StreetMeetDC
at Glen Echo Park. This is a free, photography event where you can meet and connect with other great members of the DC Photography community! We will be on-hand to highlight the labs, course offerings, and our latest exhibit ‘Under the Influence.’ Photoworks will be providing tours of their facilities and exhibit from 5-8pm.

Exhibition: Sept 3rd - Oct 10th
Join us on Friday, September 10, 2021 from 6-8 p.m. at the Photoworks Gallery for the opening of “Under the Influence,” an exhibition which celebrates the influence and work of Frank P. “Tico” Herrera. Tico, a founding member of Photoworks, who taught advanced photography and printing at Glen Echo for more than 45 years, exerted a profound influence on the many photography students and practitioners who studied with him over the course of his tenure. His mastery of portrait and landscape genres and his unflagging humor will be featured along with the work of his former students.

Photo Matters
Join us on Sunday, August 22nd, 2021 from 10am-12pm online for our new, free, monthly meeting hosted by Steve Greenberg. Photo Matters is a place where people can come and discuss all things photographic. Photoworks instructors will be invited to talk about their class offerings. Participants will be welcome to show their work, but formal critiques will NOT be offered; that will be reserved for our Coffee and Critique Sessions.
