Come experience the magic of creating your own black and white photographs in a traditional darkroom.  This beginner-level class includes instruction and practice on a film camera, film developing, and printing the resulting negatives.  Students must supply film camera or arrange camera loan with instructor in advance.

This workshop will focus on portraiture. In addition to the portraiture practice - composition,  exposure, light quality, indoor and outdoor locations - students will work with enrolled students at Photoworks as well as home assignments with family and friends.  Necessary equipment: 35mm film camera, or plastic lens Holga camera (Holga camera is loaned  by Photoworks for the class).  B/W film purchase from Photoworks or local camera stores.
