On Monday, February 9, 2026, the Handmade Photo Group gathered at Photoworks for a “What to do With Our Crappy Prints” night. Armed with paints and x-acto knives and scissors and colored pencils and glue - and some snacks - we worked on our own prints; we worked on each others’ prints. Zoe commented, “ I painted my crappies with lots of reds and colors I don’t get from our alternative processes.” We attempted to rescue our disasters or maybe give ourselves leave to try something new. We even collaged a group piece with pieces cut from many prints. The photos below show some of what we created.
