Sebastian Hesse-Kastein is demonstrating the Platinum/Palladium process. This 19th century printing technique produces a uniquely cool or warm tone image on watercolor or cotton printing paper. A light sensitive emulsion is applied to the paper with a brush or a coating rod. Then a large (digital) negative is exposed under intense ultraviolet light. That way an unusually looking contact print comes to life.
