About the Course
This is for advanced photographers who want a self-guided experience within the darkroom, rubbing shoulders with others at the same level. Photographers will have unlimited access to the Photoworks darkroom on Tuesday nights from 5:30-9:30pm.
Your Instructor
Kevin Meadows
Kevin Meadows teaches the Advanced Darkroom Photography class. He holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts and a Master of Arts in Teaching from the Maryland Institute College of Art in Baltimore, Maryland.
With over 20 years of experience teaching fine art, Kevin has worked extensively with both traditional and digital photography. He strives to support students as they develop strong technical skills while also cultivating their own artistic vision.
Having lived and worked abroad for many years, Kevin’s photographic practice is informed by close attention to place and landscape. His photographs invite the viewer to slow their perception and consider how memory and history are implied within people, places, and spaces.
