Youth Online Exhibition

Photoworks Gallery is proud to present our 9th Annual Juried Competition and Exhibition for Young Photographers. The competition is designed for students of photography aged 18 and under and past year’s selected photographs have been taken by students as young as 10 years old.


BREAKING OUT call for entries encourages students to submit their work and perspectives.  We have all endured two years of fear and isolation and this spring we are BREAKING OUT!  Show us how you see it.

We will also be hosting an Online Artist Talk: July 12th at 7pm.

- Submit up to 3 images.

-Entry Fee is $25.

- Submission is through

Click this link and follow steps to register onsite (it’s free!) and submit work.- Image requirements: SmarterEntry will resize your image automatically but images should be a minimum 800 pixels on the longest side and file should be no more than 8MB. File format should be JPEG.

- Notification of juried results: July 1st.

About Juror Rebecca Drobis

Rebecca Drobis is an MD-based story-telling commercial photographer whose work is focused around youth, family, health, community and education for clients in the commercial, government and non-profit sectors.  Rebecca has photographed campaigns for Children’s National Medical Center, FEMA, The Ad Council, US Dept of Health & Human Services, Ketchum Worldwide and The Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.
