This condensed class will cover the basics of digital photography with an emphasis on using the camera as a creative tool. This is a great opportunity for students interested in photography to learn fundamentals and creative tips and tricks. Students will have a shooting assignment in Glen Echo

This exciting course will provide students with a comprehensive introduction to the exciting world of digital photography. Students will study composition, perspective, light, color, movement, etc.–and learn to express their creativity using their digital camera (point & shoot or DSLR). No prior experience necessary. Begin or expand your interest in photography with this b/w class. Weekly or daily shooting, lots of creative processes, “hands–on” darkroom time resulting in a set of unique images.
