This condensed class will cover the basics of digital photography with an emphasis on using the camera as a creative tool. This is a great opportunity for students interested in photography to learn fundamentals and creative tips and tricks. Students will have a shooting assignment in Glen Echo

This exciting course will provide students with a comprehensive introduction to the exciting world of digital photography. Begin or expand your interest in photography with this b/w class. Weekly or daily shooting, lots of creative processes, “hands–on” darkroom time resulting in a set of unique images. Learn to shoot, convert, and edit digital files for high quality black and white prints. Combine aesthetic ideas with black and white editing techniques in the digital darkroom.
