Grace Taylor: "Stone XXI" scanner-as-camera image
Grace Taylor’s fine art photography has evolved from being about people in their environments to a search for connections to so-called inanimate objects. Using a scanner as camera, she has made portraits of individual Maine stones that seem to touch on a primeval energy. The search continues . . . . .
Taylor’s work is in the permanent collection of The National Museum of Women in the Arts and in the U. S. State Department.
