Congratulations Award Winners! The results are in for the Young Photographers 2010 Competition. Click here to check out this year’s award-winning photographs, or come see all of the photographs selected for this year’s Young Photographers Exhibit at the Photoworks Gallery. The exhibit runs through May 16. Exhibit hours are Saturdays 1-4 PM, and Sundays & Mondays, 1-8 PM.

Photoworks is a unique community of photographers, located in the arts enclave of Glen Echo Park, Maryland.

Our philosophy is simple: Creative dialogue with fellow photographers, an intimate learning environment, and outstanding faculty are the ingredients for creative growth. Through weekly classes, weekend workshops, open darkrooms, digital labs, monthly critiques sessions, lectures, and regularly changing gallery exhibits, members of the Photoworks community find common ground with other professional and student photographers while cultivating their own technical skills and artistic vision.
